Glass is a highly versatile construction material.
Architects and designers are mainly concerned with the physical functions of glass, such as thermal insulation, sun filtering, and sound proofing. Often, however, aesthetic requirements are almost as important. If both these needs can be satisfied at once by a combined solution, then there really is nothing that stands in the way of using glass as a functional and structural resource.
Here we show you a few examples where functional glazing from Interpane has given a building its really distinctive character or where the energy audit has been substantially improved by the use of sun filtering / thermal insulation glass.
